The mdef package contains models for the deformation of materials informed by crystal scale mechanics. Various post-processing tools are included, as are some tools for comparing results with data from diffraction experiments. A list of relevant publications is included below. The package is distributed open source under LGPL -- see the README and NOTICES files in the tarball. Screenshots for deformation of a magnesium alloy polycrystal are also included below.
